Kaleidoscope Curriculum

TBAP TSA are committed to innovative practice and developing new approaches.

We have developed our own curriculum model to support the needs of learners in complex learning environments. This has been based upon over 20 years of research and application and is a tried and tested approach, leading to outcomes far exceeding national averages for AP learners.

Kaleidoscope is a balance of:

  1. Outstanding teaching and learning  strategies applied to learners with additional SEMH needs

  2. Golden circle thinking – WHY? HOW? WHAT? Knowing your ‘why’ is crucial 

  3. Utilising developmental and clinical/cognitive psychological approaches within schools

  4. Leading and teaching which assumes a high level of adaptability to human behaviour/connection in order to bring out the best potential of learners and staff
